The project starts from the Shengmi Bridge (Changnan Avenue) in the north and is arranged along the east side of the dyke of the Gandong embankment to the south to the South Outer Ring Expressway with a total length of about 10.5 kilometers. It consists of two major systems, the express main road and the auxiliary road in the east. There are six separate interchanges and eleven pedestrian bridges in this phase. The construction content includes: roads, bridges, drainage, electrical, greening, transportation facilities and other projects.
Project progress: The project's planning plan has been approved, and the project approval and site selection opinions have been obtained. Flood prevention, environmental assessment, and special reports on water conservation are all in the preparation and approval stage. Expert review meetings for feasibility reports have been organized.
The total estimated investment is RMB 146,412,900, of which RMB 97,758,500 is the engineering cost, RMB 37,807,900 is the other cost of the project construction, and RMB 10,845,360 is the basic reserve fee.
The project is scheduled to start in September 2014 and open to traffic in September 2016.
